Rachel
CEO of MindStrong Fitness
As a 10+ year educator, teaching is and always will be my passion.
After years of hearing women shame, blame, and guilt themselves about food, the former teacher in me wanted to shout from the rooftops, "There's an easier way!"
Rather than getting arrested for disturbing the peace ;) I decide to start a company doing something no one else in the health industry was doing: EDUCATING
I'm here to teach women how they, too, can take control of a lifelong struggle with food and live a guilt-free life, even in menopause and beyond.
Over the past years, I've helped over 2,500 women transform their lives and reach their health and fitness goals through Ignite, our Signature 12 Week Program, my best-selling book, Becoming MindStrong: The Truth About Health, Fitness, and the BS That's Holding You Back, and my podcast, Becoming MindStrong.
It's my passion and the thing in life that lights me up most...well, that and donuts. ;)
When I’m not traveling the world or lifting heavy things up and down, I spend my time cuddling with my puppy, Charlie.
Coach Dori
I came to MindStrong as a client after a hysterectomy put me in menopause at 38yrs old.
I went from never ever having to think about my size or weight as a kid and young adult to waking up in a body I didn't recognize anymore. Instead of being in the picture, I wanted to hide behind anything and anyone, as I wasn't comfortable being "seen" anymore. Feelings of shame and guilt for "letting myself go" crept in and made themselves at home.
I was eating under 900 calories a day and exercising…yet nothing worked. I felt STUCK and destined to live out life in this “grandma bod”
Fast forward to today, I am a coach/cheerleader in which I get to educate and share every single tip, trick, and resource with other frustrated women, who need help stepping into their own power and reshaping both their insides and outsides.
Coach Michelle
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Group Fitness Trainer and Behavior Change Specialist. (Fun Fact: I am a former professional athlete and placed 6th in the world at the Track and Field World Championships in Seville, Spain in 1999!)
I believe in silence before coffee, pizza with pineapple, and that the beach is a natural peace whisperer.
As I become wiser in age, my main goal and passion in life continues to be motivating, encouraging, and helping women to feel empowered. I believe that we can choose how we want to experience our lives and that when we do it with intention, it can be more meaningful and full of joy.
Coach Robyn
I am an energetic mother of four world travelers, and have over thirty years of experience in education.
With degrees in Outdoor Education and Biology, and a background in research, teaching, and owning an outdoor family resort, I have always felt comfortable in the outdoors-whether at base camp researching wolves, backpacking into the Alaskan back-country for caribou migrations, hiking and kayaking anywhere and everywhere, elbow deep in my gardens, or exploring the outdoor spaces of the Dominican Republic and Paraguay when visiting my children.
However, while feeling perfectly at home in the outdoors, I haven’t always felt at home in my own skin. For many years my weight would cycle through gaining about 20 pounds in the winter, and losing the same 20 pounds each summer. I did that over and over until I hit menopause, and suddenly none of my prior weight loss strategies were working any more.
My journey with MindStrong began as a client. Once I began implementing MindStrong’s mindset tools, and applied the skills of nutrition, l not only lost the weight I wanted, but learned how to maintain my weight at higher calories than I was eating before.
I became a coach because I want every woman to discover the freedom that comes from finally understanding the math and science of nutrition. It is so easy, and when applied consistently it works for everyone. I look forward to guiding you on your nutrition journey!
Coach Lela
I am a professor with a doctorate in psychology/family studies and human development, and a researcher and educator with two decades of experience. My passion is supporting women in “midlife” - that ambiguous period between beginning and ending (or as Margaret Atwood, my favorite Canadian author wrote, “the middle of a river, the middle of a bridge, halfway across, halfway over”).
I am deeply committed to increasing our understanding of ourselves, as we navigate the river (or stand in the middle of the bridge, depending on your favorite analogy), and our personal relationships as they intersect with our own. My scholarship has resulted in two books, 70 peer-reviewed manuscripts, and I have spoken at 200 national and international conference meetings -- enhancing health, mental-health, and development for mothers and their children.
Coach Anna
As a board certified Family Practice Nurse Practitioner, I have a huge passion for nutrition and helping people improve their lives!
With a background in preventive medicine, women’s health, and mental health, and my love for MindStrong, I can’t wait to help you meet your health and fitness goals.
With macros and Rachel’s mindset work, we’ll open up a world and a relationship with food that you never thought possible. (And the best part is that it’s easier than you ever thought it could be!) There’s no restriction, no starving, and no self-hatred!
Coach Carlie
As a marketing professional, my true passion lies in helping women stay active and healthy. I am incredibly passionate about nutrition as the vehicle to reach our ultimate health goals.
Growing up around sports (my dad was a high school football coach), and being exposed to athletics, I fell in love with training and the weight room. During college, I found a wonderful community in my local CrossFit gym where I competed at a high level in multiple regional qualifying events. My gym community first exposed me to this thing called "macros", and it opened up the world of nutrition for me. Until that point in my life, I hadn't thought anything about the nutritional aspect of my training, and macros gave me a deeper understanding of how it could be used as a tool to change my life! I then went on to run youth and adult sports leagues for my city's parks department, and my passion only grew from there.
In June of 2024, I became a mom, and this has only made me more passionate about women's health and educating others, so that they can fuel their body for all the tasks we, as women, take on!
Coach Maria
A professional pilot by trade and avid traveler at heart, I know firsthand the challenges of maintaining health and fitness in the face of unique circumstances and a non-standard lifestyle. My passion as a MindStrong Coach is to empower and equip individuals with the tools they need to thrive, no matter the obstacles. It will be a genuine privilege to walk this path alongside you as your coach and biggest fan every step of the way!
I am a person intent on chasing life and potential to the highest degree, and have learned that a healthy body and mind are the keys to making it all possible. When not coaching, you can find me enjoying long motorcycle rides, trail running, lost in super chill music, or connecting with friends- both old and new.
With an adventurous spirit and a belief that every challenge has the potential to be a beautiful opportunity, I see every mountain—literal or metaphorical—as a chance to discover something magnificent. I can’t wait to be a part of your journey to living your best life.

I’m a Licensed NeuroEncoding Specialist with a background in b2b consulting and building businesses. Through my own burnout, health and weight challenges I realized about a decade in that a more holistic approach is required for lasting change, both in myself and those I work with. As a Transformational Change Consultant I help with change from the inside out, through a process of subconscious inner change, utilizing various tools / modalities and backed by neuroscience with extensive research and verified data.
Physical health is such a beautiful catalyst for significant change in all areas of life. Before working on business strategy or any other consulting projects we have to start with personal wellbeing to ensure lasting change; and that means a happy body, mind and spirit. In the last 2 decades I’ve helped hundreds of clients around the world to reach their greatest potential, reconnect with their joy and free themselves from the patterns, habits and limiting beliefs that have been blocking their growth.
As a Corporate Trainer, High Performance Coach, Business Consultant and Healer I have had the privilege of leading clients through numerous workshops, trainings and private sessions in the neuroscience of change. As a teacher of meditation and subconscious reprogramming I work with various modalities to facilitate the rewiring of neural pathways so that permanent, lasting change is achieved. Other accreditations include NLP, Hypnotherapy, various energy healing modalities and Certified High Performance Coach.
Fun fact: I can be bribed with a slice of tiramisu (or carrot cake!)

Hi I'm Suomo (Sw-oh-mo)! I work on the admin side of the MindStrong team. Professionally, I've worn many hats - from being a program coordinator for refugees from Eastern and Central Africa, to being a therapist at a university, doing art installations at a museum, teaching Zumba, admin support, music festival set up, working with children, and more.
I’m passionate about painting, dancing, cooking, traveling, being in nature, and this MindStrong Family.
At the core of it all is my love of connecting with and helping people find their path to a happier, healthier self, which is why I love the work we do at MindStrong.
